Jammu Kashmir: – In Jammu and Kashmir Main crop the Jammu is maize and wheat.
In Kashmir rice or Paddy crop leads and Ladakh leads in barley followed by wheat production. Not the least we can not forget the fruits( Kashmiri Apple), cereals and some desserts
Himachal Pradesh – Himachal leads in fruits, dry fruits some of Areas contributes main production of the wheat.
Punjab, Haryana: – Main farming of the region is Wheat and rice. They totally depend on the modern mechanization like tube well, agriculture equipment’s and also total usage of electricity is 2.0 kw/ha which highest in the country.
Rajasthan: – Despite the less rainfall Main Farming in Rajasthan crops are wheat, maize, barley and other crops like mango, sugarcane and chilli
Madya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh – main crops are the wheat
Bihar and Jharkhand: These States are also rich in agriculture like Wheat and paddy but also rich in Mining and they have highest GDP in the Country
West Bengal & Sikkim :- West-Bengal is agrarian state there are 96 % are the farmers among them maximum farmers are maginal and small farmers, average land holding 0.77 ha. Main Farming is wheat, Rice, Oil seeds, Tobacco and Tea in north region and Sikkim etc.

Maharashtra- Maharashtra is a leading State in agriculture. Principal crops grown in the State are rice, jowar, bajra, wheat, tur, mung, urad, gram and other pulses. The State is a major producer of oilseeds. … The important cash crops are cotton, sugarcane, turmeric and vegetables.
Orissa Maize and Ragi are the important coarse cereal crops. The production of ragi and maize was 1.65 and 4.82 lakh MT, respectively. Jowar, Bajra and small millets are also grown in the state to a lesser extent. Arhar, mung, kulthi, biri, gram, fieldpea, cowpea and lentil are the pulse crops grown in the State

Tamil NaduThe major crops sown in Tamil Nadu are rice, jowar, ragi, bajra, maize, and pulses. Few other crops that are highly cultivated in the regions of Tamil Nadu are cotton, sugarcane, tea, coffee, and coconut
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Paddy which is grown in abundance in the district is exported to other district / states. Other crops grown are Maize, Jowar, Cotton, Sugarcane, Groundnut, Pulses, Chillies and to some extent Tobacco. The major horticulture crops grown are Mango, Guava, Oil Palm, Coconut, Cashew, Lemon etc. and Telangana Crops that are grown in Telangana are Rice, Maize/ Corn, Red Gram, Green Gram, Jowar, Sesame, Castor, Cotton, Groundnut, Soyabean , Black Gram.
